We use "nocat" in open mode for the redirection of web pages. We use the LessNetwork solution. (http://www.lessnetworks.com/static/v099/LessINSTALL.html). It's a linux distribution RedHat with a dhcp, apache and nocat. We like to filter web pages with our Websense. Have you a solution to filter the Web pages with nocat and with the websense ? Thank you Regards David From erecio at polywog.org Thu Aug 24 16:44:50 2006 From: erecio at polywog.org (E M Recio) Date: Thu, 24 Aug 2006 19:44:50 -0400 Subject: [NoCat] Nocat with Websense In-Reply-To: <1156428379.44edb25b2669d@imp3-g19.free.fr> References: <1156428379.44edb25b2669d@imp3-g19.free.fr> Message-ID: <44EE39F2.8060502@polywog.org> siebenborn at free.fr wrote: > I wish to set up a captive Web portal. > We use "nocat" in open mode for the redirection of web pages. > We use the LessNetwork solution. > (http://www.lessnetworks.com/static/v099/LessINSTALL.html). We will have to do something similar here. Since it's a public network, we are thinking about installing either a) an additional network agent on the actual network being managed by no-cat, adding a firewall rule to allow access to the policy servers' ports; or b) installing a policy server on the network managed by no-cat; or c) [this is what we'll probably go with] integrate websense with Squid as the required proxy server for all clients on the no-cat network.
