Rob is right, the connector manufacturer is Hirose, a Japanese company.
these connectors are also popular for GPS receivers. the type designation
is U.FL. the mating connector you need is U.FL-R-SMT.

Amphenol makes a mateable coax connector and calls it AMC. here's their
web page http://www.amphenolrf.com/products/amc.asp

an almost identical connector is made by Japanese company I-pex and their
designator is MHF.

a picture of a pigtail is at http://www.mikrotik.com/img/ucl_pigtail.jpg
and their catalog page at http://www.wireless.lv/antennas.php (at the
bottom). their price is 29 (about twice what they want for MMCX pigtails).
but they're in Latvia.

about 1/5th down the page they have a picture of their dish feed can which
indicates scale (about 1-1/2 inch diameter and 3-1/4 inch long, with feed
about 3/4 inch from back wall). can't get precision from a photo, but
that's a ballpark place to start.

i'm pretty sure i recently saw the Hirose connector pigtail from one of the
regular suppliers but i can't locate it tonight.

here's a 4 inch long Hirose to bare wire with RG-174 cable from Australia
for ~12 USD. http://www.commlinx.com.au/Hirose_to_Pigtail_Cable.htm

ok, NetGate has them but only to reverse polarity TNC for $25.00:

Cisco uses the connectors on their MiniPCI MPI-350. any friends at Cisco
that could pick you up some connectors or pigtails?

and a google search showed an e-mail that someone got pigtails from Michael
at personaltelco.
