[WNDW] Translations of the book - call for help

Hi everyone,

Right from the outset of this book project it has been our intention to
do what we can to get this book translated to as many local languages as
possible. Since this book is a volunteer driven effort, there is one
thing that is certain in this respect: We need as much help as we can get!

I am taking overall responsibility for the proccess, in other words,
i'll be trying to make usre that whatever is needed from the side of the
authors/organisers is readily available. However it is clear to me, that
in order to be successful, we need to find volunteers to help us with
the process.

Basically we (the authors) have very little time, and even less
experience when it comes to translation efforts, so anyone who thinks
they can be of assistance please let us know. Volunteers for being
project leads, translators, fund-raisers, proposal-writers for a
specific language are welcome.

There is a wiki-page
(http://wndw.net/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.Translations) for the purpose of
organising and tracking translation efforts. There are also wiki pages
for some of the main languages that we are prioritising in terms of
translations, and more can be added.

So anyone interested in helping with translations, please make sure you
do the following 3 things:

1. subscribe to the WNDW mailing list (this list)
2. go to the wiki-page Translations and register your interest
3. let's figure out how to get this done ;-)

cheers

/tomas
