Dear Tomas,

I need to know how many words the book have and which was the program
used to do the lay-out before converting it to PDF.

I've volunteer already to help you out to find support to translate the
book in French, Spanish and Portuguese. I've will put together a budget
that will cover the expenses of a full-time translator and a technical
editor who will be in charge of reviewing that the translations are not
literal and respects the concepts behind your effort, and also that will
not edit/modified any of the information you all put together.

I've will draft some kind of basic agreement that all the volunteers
working towards local versions of the book, will follow, which is
absolutely critical to keep the book as a single useful resource instead
of different books at the end.

I've will share the proposal through the list to look for comments and
suggestions.

It will be great if you can contact the people from
www.translationsforprogress.org and submit a request. That is something
that needs to be done by a member of the Book Sprint team.

All the best,

Sylvia
