[WNDW] Mirroring wndw.net + pre-launch

Hello, all--

Here's how to mirror wndw.net:

* Download http://wndw.net/mirror/pdf.tgz and extract it in your  
document root.  This contains the PDFs for the book, including the  
chapter breakdowns.  You'll only need to download this once; it's  
quite big and won't change until the next edition.

* Download http://wndw.net/mirror/wndw-current.tgz, and extract it in  
your document root.  This is the rest of the website.  Do this as  
often as you like, not more than once per day.

* IMPORTANT: Set up a rewrite rule that redirects requests from / 
wiki/ to http://wndw.net/wiki/.  This is necessary so we only have  
one authoritative wiki.  A copy still goes into the mirror archive so  
we also get a distributed backup.  I set up the redirector for  
us.wndw.net by putting this in the .htaccess in my htdocs directory:

Redirect /wiki/                 http://wndw.net/wiki/

Your mileage may vary with your webserver version.  Email me if you  
get stuck here.

* To insert your own ads on your mirror, copy ads.html.example to  
ads.html, and edit accordingly.  This file is included by the other  
html and is the only file that needs to be edited.  When you extract  
the wndw-current.tgz in the future, be sure to exclude your revised  
ads.html if you are using it.  I use this command from within my  
htdocs directory:

tar zvxf ../mirror/wndw-current.tgz --exclude='ads.html'

Once you have set all of this up, drop me an email and I'll put in a  
DNS entry to point to your mirror (like us.wndw.net, etc.)

That's it!  We launch in T-4 hours.  Let me know ASAP if you have any  
issues with the site.
