Great stats for the first 24 hours! no doubt that the stats will 
continue to grow as the interest and use of wireless networks.

To add to the list of translations already done you can add the Spanish 
translation of the book cover that I did to prepare the Spanish 
announcement, before the official press release.

About translations:

- I will suggest to submit as soon as possible a request to 
http://www.translationsforprogress.org/ asking if they can by providing 
a basic budget to cover faster translations... if possible. With that 
information you can draft a budget. It all depends on how much the 
translators charge in the country they are working on. Here in Uruguay, 
you can get translation in French, Portuguese, Spanish and English from 
USD 0.04/word or USD 0.06/word if is urgent and you can negotiate 
getting the price down paying in advance or if is more than 100 pages.

- About on-line translations... well, it depend if the translators has a 
fast and reliable Internet connection and how used is he/she to work 
that way. I think it will extremely useful to have the text of the book 
in a platform which can be easily exported to have the same design and 
layout that the original one have with as less effort as possible. I 
hope that there people on this group who can provide insight about to do 
this properly.

- I think you can keep traffic related to decide about translation in 
this mailing list, and then if a group is set up to actually work on 
specific translation to a particular language then you can offer them a 
working space.

- It will be great to have a wiki page with the information regarding 
who is interested to do some work (fundraising, translate, format, etc.) 
to have the book translated into a particular language.
