With support from WiLAC, we have managed to get started on a spanish and
french translation of the book.
The work will be done by a professional, technical translator.
We chose this way of doing it, because we were lucky enough to find the
relevant funding, and because getting the translations out as speedily
as possible is of great importance to us.
To help make these translations as good as possible we are looking for
volunteers to help edit/quality control the translation. So anyone who
speaks good french or spanish and has a grasp of technical language, we
need your help.
The more people who look through this, and comment as we go along, the
better the end result.
We are still working out the details of getting the translation on-line
as a work in progress, and will get back as soon as we know more.
Equally importantly we are looking for funding/project
managers/volunteers to help get the book translated into other
languages. Our priorities include Russian, Arabic and Hindi, but we are
of course open to suggestions for translation into any other language.
Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help so far. Your help is
needed and appreciated.
Regards
