Through funding by the IDRC, we will be able to produce a big update to WNDW to be released at the end of the year, as well as four foreign language editions to be released next summer. If you have case studies or other contributions that you would like to see in print for the 2nd edition, please add them to the wiki (http://wiki.wndw.net/) and write a note to the mailing list. The deadline for new submissions is September 1, 2007. Next week, we will post more details about the new material and updates. There will be a considerable amount of new ground covered in WNDW2, so stay tuned. --Rob From iyan31 at yahoo.com Thu Jul 19 08:05:46 2007 From: iyan31 at yahoo.com (Yantisa Akhadi) Date: Thu, 19 Jul 2007 08:05:46 -0700 (PDT) Subject: [WNDW] Translation for Indonesian Language Message-ID: <806055.93959.qm@web32510.mail.mud.yahoo.com> Dear all, First i'd like to introduce myself, my name is Yantisa Akhadi, but people usually call me Ian. I'm currently working for UNDP as a database assistant in Indonesia. I'm already familiar with networking since 6 years ago, and i'm also a happy linux fan without hatred toward MS :D. As i read the book, i realize how this book would meant a lot in my country on connecting people with knowledge, and i believe that translation would accelerate more the knowledge within. So i'm interested on translating WNDW book on my language, either together with my friends or i do it by myself. So i'd like to ask what the next step that i should do? I'm already join this mailing list and also the wiki. Thank you very much for the response! -Ian- ____________________________________________________________________________________ Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/
